When I started searching I was really not quite ready for purchasing but Brad and Vicki were there to help. Knowing I wasn’t quite there they took the time out to set up online searches personalized for me multiple times as I changed my mind again and again. Both Brad and Vicki took me to see multiple properties each at the drop of a dime. The responsiveness and urgency on their part made me feel like an important part of their business. After months of this and seeing about 10 properties I found one I really liked and Brad took the time to go there with me 3 different times so I could look over everything. He was helpful in making an offer to get me the best possible price. Brad made it to the inspection, appraisal and closing with me. After the purchase I have received friendly e-mails and texts to check in. Vicki and Brad played a huge role in making the home buying process extremely easy and it was a pleasure to work with them. Thanks to the recommendation of a friend, we reached out to Vicki and Brad Sammis to help us purchase our first home. We reached out one Sunday evening, and to our surprise, received an immediate response, and set up a time to meet at a coffee shop of our choice. After our initial chat, it was clear that both Vicki and Brad approached our home buying experience as a clean slate. We told them the areas we were most interested in, our budget, and what styles stood out to us. I was curious as to what value a realtor could provide, in that anyone can search Zillow and attend open houses, as we had before meeting Vicki and Brad. However, they made their value clear quickly. In no time at all we were on an afternoon tour of six homes we were interested in. Vicki had set up the tour, which included reaching out to other realtors to open the homes up for us to check out. By working with a team like Vicki and Brad, we had access to their incredible support team. The lender they recommended was equally professional, and in addition to approving us for a loan, drafted up letters for every house we toured in case we wanted to move on any of them, without delay. We toured all over Whitneyville and Spring Glen, and in the process, found a home we were excited to pursue. We set up an additional viewing to get a second impression, and liked it even better than the first time through. With that, we moved forward. From our perspective, the transaction couldn’t have been easier. The inspection, performed by Marco of Pillar to Post (another part of Vicki’s team), went swimmingly, and in no time at all, we put in a bid. Negotiations were quick, and a closing date was set. From there things went so smoothly, we moved the closing date up two weeks and were moving in before we knew it. Everything we had heard prior to buying a home was how challenging it can be, thanks to Vicki and Brad’s experience and wisdom, out experience was easier than grocery shopping. We want to thank you both for a job well done in successfully selling our home in Connecticut. Your hard work and dedication resulted in a seamless process that truly exceeded our expectations. We prepared ourselves for many showings and lots of "necessary intrusion" on our day-to-day lives. Fortunately, they never materialized. Our first (and only) open house resulted in an offer and a signed contract in less than five days. None of us could have anticipated the devastating COVID-19 virus and the effect it is having on all of our lives. The state shut-down during the process and the uncertain times caused lots of changes in the timeline, and with your help, we still we managed to close almost two-weeks early. That's not to say we didn't have our share of frantic phone calls to you, every one of which was answered immediately. I don't think we ever had to leave one voice message through this whole process. Anytime day or night, your immediate responsiveness and calm, professional demeanor saw us through it all. Please know how appreciative we are of the tremendous attention we received, including your remarkable sensitivity to our emotional needs. Selling a home that you have lived in for 36 years and raised your family in is certainly emotionally draining. We could not have asked for more support in that regard. She always responded quickly to any inquiry. She even helped me prepare my home for the online photos. Her son Brad was just as helpful and they both seemed to be exceptionally knowledgeable about the real estate business.
